- Tidy lawns, landscaping, and garden areas
- Clear outdoor areas of tools, toys, lawn equipment, and miscellaneous items
- Arrange porch, deck, and screened-porch furniture neatly
- Prepare pool or spa areas so they appear clean and inviting, if applicable
- Ensure the exterior of the home is clean; pressure washing is recommended if needed
